Usage Attention
Please read the text below prior to using or purchasing a wheel from us.
- CF wheels are high-performance racing wheels designed for solar cars and specialized lightweight vehicles.
- Designed exclusively for pure racing use, handle with extreme caution and take care to observe the following points in particular.
- Please ensure proper installation, use, and maintenance to prevent deterioration in strength and quality.
Handling / Storage
- CF wheels are composed of CF (carbon fiber) and epoxy resin.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as UV rays cause degradation.
- Do not store in high-temperature or high-humidity environments.
- Please treat carefully surface of the CFRP wheel product enough not to damage it.
- Be careful not to scratch or impact the surface of the CFRP wheel.
- Discard any wheel that shows deformation or cracks.
Tire set
- When mounting or changing tires, avoid using metal tools. Use soft plastic tools whenever possible to prevent rim scratches.
- When installing the air valve, ensure the rubber sealing(O-ring) is securely tightened to prevent air leaks.
- Thoroughly check for air leaks at the tire-to-rim interface and around the valve area.
- When mounting the tire onto the rim, ensure the tire bead does not strike the wheel rim forcefully. Perform the fitment at a pressure of 6.0 kgf/cm² or less.
At the time of use
- Air pressure in a tire should be equal or less than 6.0kg/cm2.
- Always wear protective gear such as safety glasses and gloves when handling the tire set.
- Before using, thoroughly check the entire wheel to confirm no damage (cracks, etc.) to the CFRP.
- If tire pressure drops significantly in a short time, it may indicate air leakage due to rim damage or rim deformation. If this occurs, stop using the wheel immediately.
- If you feel abnormal vibration or hear unusual noises while using, stop immediately in a safe location and check the wheel.
