New Generation ducted 10kW wind turbine

We made the world's greatest wind turbine system that using an augmented rotor technology offers opportunity of the rooftop installment and capability as a device for micro-grid system. Nowdays, using the natural energy is essential way of reducing the CO2 emissions. The duct that encircles the rotor has an effect of increasing the air mass flow that results in double improvement : system's power generation efficiency increases, and reduction of noise caused by the blade tips.
We are now developing a new lower cost model, that will not compromise quality to be released during 2008.

Starting from 2004, using original concept idea as a base, with knowledge and skills in aerodynamics, mechanics, and composite materials structures, we have developed 10kW small wind turbine generator.
In 2005, we have completed the feasibility study (FS) model prototype, and started the field test at the rooftop of our office building. Using this "in-situ" opportunity with constant development, we are aiming for full industrialization and commercialization of our product hoping to start sales in 2008.


Nov. 12, 2005 FS #3 installed, operation started.
Duct diameter ƒΣ5m

₯To increase power generation at low wind speeds we increased the duct diameter from 3.5m to 5m.
₯To reduce the cost, we revised wind turbine rotor.

Duct diameter 3.5m, in-wheel-motor revised. Adopted direct drive multi-pole permanent magnet synchronous generator.Test run, endurance test, and test of wind turbine subsystems and controls.

Approved by New Energy Development Organization (NEDO) at October 12th, 2005.
ƒΣ5m 10kW small horizontal axis type active yaw control system. System yields the highest efficiency in wind turbine industry, and shows the outstanding quality in low wind speed regimes.
We will present the FS #4 at SAMPE JAPAN, Tokyo Big Sight from Nov. 30th to Dec. 2nd 2005 with our QTW-UAV system.
